A new startup is looking for a person with 2+ years of experience who is comfortable placing new business. You will take the warm leads that come into the agency from the start, get the details, and then bind them mostly on the wholesale side. They will pay you a base salary as well as commission and a cut in the agency's growth. They are very small and specialize in hotels and gas stations; total bookings are about $500k in revenue but growing. They have about 15-20 new pieces of business that come in every month. Must be comfortable working in the office five days a week as well as working in a startup with only one other insurance person. This is a division of a much larger company that has over 700 employees, so there is a competitive benefit plan.
